ASIS International Malaysia Chapter recently partnered with Control Risks to deliver a dynamic and highly engaging Mini Crisis Simulation Workshop, held simultaneously with the ASIS International Singapore Chapter. This unique cross-chapter collaboration brought together security professionals from both Malaysia and Singapore for a truly interactive and immersive learning experience.

Led by expert facilitators Nadav Davidai and Jim Fitzsimmons from Control Risks, the session went beyond traditional classroom training. Participants engaged in live, scenario-based simulations designed to mirror the realities of today’s complex cyber-physical threat landscape. From security breach scenarios to rapidly evolving crises, attendees were challenged to think on their feet, make critical decisions under pressure and plan responses.

Adding a dynamic layer of interactivity, both sites were connected virtually, allowing participants to discuss their strategies in real time. Using Menti, attendees voted on thought-provoking questions, sparking meaningful dialogue across borders and enriching the overall experience.

This innovative session exemplified how technology, collaboration, and expert facilitation can come together to advance professional learning in the security community. ASIS International Malaysia Chapter extends its appreciation to Nadav, Jim, Jusnita and Esther from Control Risks, the Jeffrey and Ing Kerne from ASIS International Singapore Chapter, and all participants who made this cross-border event a success.

Stay tuned for more joint initiatives and learning opportunities as we continue to build regional expertise and strengthen our community’s resilience in the face of evolving threats!
