As part of our program for corporate and community engagement, ASIS Malaysia is proud to be invited to participate in the HSSE Excellence Week 2021 of Sarawak Energy Berhad.
Commencing from the 25th October, Group CEO of Sarawak Energy Berhad, Datu Haji Sharbini Suhaili officiated the opening of HSSE Excellence Week 2021 themed ‘Saving Lives, Raising Standards, Nurturing Culture’.
The opening session was attended by leaders from the Department of Occupational Safety and Health Sarawak, Department of Environment Sarawak, Natural Resource and Environment Board Sarawak, Malaysian National Security Council, Chief Government Security Office, State Security & Enforcement Unit, Sabah Electricity Sdn. Bhd., invited speakers, contractors, and around 700 colleagues from across Sarawak.
The program continued in the afternoon with the first session of digital talk for the week from the corporate security industry by the two invited Speakers, Tan Sri Musa Hassan, former Inspector-General of Police and Dr. Ching Eng Leong, the chairman of ASIS International Malaysia Chapter. Tan Sri Musa shared his topic on Policing Today and the Future and Dr. Ching Eng Leong presented on The Role of Physical Security in Protecting Organization Critical Assets.
